HEY Designers
Look, there’s nothing wrong with that – but honestly, you’re limited in how much you can really do for your clients.
In this course, I’ll teach you how to build websites with WordPress + Elementor that are just as user-friendly and drag-and-droppable (totally a word) as those other platforms…except like, 100000x more customizable.
For a single payment of $597, you’ll get instant access to 10+ hours of video content, a Trello template for organizing your website project, a private Facebook Group for support, and access to all future course updates.
This course was first launched in the Fall of 2020, and will be relaunching in 2021 with brand new content based on student feedback. Here’s a sneak peek at the new modules launching in 2021:
Becky C. of Goldenflower Design Co.
AKA YOUR course host
I’m a St. Louis hometown girl with three Pomeranians, a crab rangoon obsession, a Goodwill closet, and a very healthy habit of stalking homes on Zillow. I’m also a web designer, and I’ve built on all the website platforms. So, when I say WordPress is where it’s at – I know what I’m talking about.
WordPress experience is a sought-after skill as this platform powers over 35% of the web, and is the most used content management system out there. It also gives you a major leg up in a sea of single-platform designers because simply put, you can offer much more functionality and customization to your clients (there are 50k+ free plugins alone in the WordPress directory).
And in this course, I’ll guide you through why WordPress is the most powerful platform, explain the different features, showcase my content planning and design process, and even share launch tips and content creation tricks. I train my clients on how to use this platform on a daily basis, and if they can learn it, so can you.
this was built just for…
Yes, you’ll immediately be enrolled and have access to the course after purchasing.
The WooCommerce modules are slated to be released in late January/early February of 2021! The additional modules will be released on a monthly basis after that.
This course was first launched in the Fall of 2020, and will be relaunching in 2021 with brand new content based entirely on student feedback.
You’ll have support from me in the private Facebook group! I respond to all questions within 24 hours.
You’ll be able to catch all of the replays from the beta launch of this course inside both the FB group and course portal.
You will have access to the course content for the life of the course.
Nope! A big reason people find WordPress intimidating is because it doesn’t appear user-friendly when compared to other popular drag-and-drop visual builders. However, that’s just not the case!
While I will share a few CSS tricks during the design portion, coding is absolutely not required to master this course.
An in-depth module on creating a WordPress website using WooCommerce + Elementor is being released in 2021! Until then, eCommerce is also briefly mentioned during the plugin portion of Module 2.
Nope! While having a WordPress website is certainly helpful to follow along and implement as you learn, it’s not necessary. Plus, you’ll have access to the content for the lifetime of the course, so you can always go refer back based on your own progress.
If you’re currently using another platform to design websites for clients, this will provide you with all of the information you need to begin building client sites on WordPress from start to finish.
While you can complete this entire course without purchasing anything extra, I highly recommend upgrading to Elementor Pro to put your learning into action. I will also overview the process of purchasing a domain and hosting, and discuss a few premium plugin options – but those are entirely up to you, depending on your current needs.
No – this course shows you how to use WordPress efficiently, and provides in-depth tutorials on the tools and processes I use within my actual web design business. While some aspects of design are discussed, the primary focus is learning the ins and outs of WordPress, Elementor and website elements (domains, hosting, themes, plugins, SSL, SEO, analytics, etc.).
While this course was created with designers in mind, it’s also very helpful for someone who is starting from scratch and plans on maintaining their own website in the future.
I would not recommend this course for someone looking to redesign an existing WordPress website unless it is currently built with Elementor Pro, or you plan on transitioning to using Elementor Pro.
As this is a digital product with instant content access, there are absolutely no refunds given.
